Dealing with Critters in the Most Humane Way Possible

Experts like Jack Murphy, co-founder of Denver-based Urban Wildlife Rescue, say that relocating wild animals, such as squirrels, from your attic to other unfamiliar places actually gives them less chances of surviving. Homeowners who care about the well-being of these animals, but simply do not want them in their houses, should therefore opt for a more humane approach.

Ned Bruha, ā€œThe Skunk Whispererā€ from Oklahoma City, suggests that, instead of taking their move into oneā€™s own hands, the homeowner should wait until the animals are ready to move out and provide them with a one-way exit. Once the animals are out, the odors left by the animals should be neutralized, and all the entry points should repaired or sealed.
