While everyone is encouraged to enjoy watching wildlife, the Department of Environmental Conservation is urging the public to avoid disturbing the wild animals while viewing them. In a press released made by the department, it showed that a lot of photographers have been intentionally disturbing the creatures while taking pictures of them.

DEC asks the people to keep a respectful distance while viewing wildlife. They should, at all times, never chase these animals and stay in their vehicles during closer observations.
