Allowing wild snakes into our property is never a good idea, especially if you know very little about their species and whether or not they are harmful. So, the first step to securing your safety is to learn about the species that are indigenous in your area.
To keep snakes from roosting in your property, you should get rid of things or places that they may find ideal, such as dark, secluded areas, piles of wood, and rocks. You should also cut tall grasses, limit shrubs and thick growing plants, drain puddles, patch up holes, and put up a fence.
