In a press conference in Fort Lauderdale, the South Florida Wildlife Center introduced a new program that would help property owners use humane methods to withdraw birds, raccoons, squirrels and other urban wildlife from their homes and businesses.
Humane Wildlife services, according to director John Griffin, is the first lethal-free option that will allow the animals to self-evict through devices which include one-way doors. The doors will allow an animal to escape from the structure as well as prevent them from being able to re-enter.
