Known for having wildlife all over town, the City of Ashland is currently taking steps to keep the wild animals from becoming bolder. After a deer summit was held in September, citizens decided to put new signs to help warn the public about feeding the wild animals.
City officials said that if you are caught feeding wildlife, you can be fined $435. Although they may first come with a warning, the fines will be enforced by a complaint system.
