Rescue Tips for Wild Animals

If you think you can rescue wild animals if you come across one, you better think twice. There are actually instances wherein abandoned animals may not need any help because in many cases it is normal for many animals to leave their young alone for a longer period of time. Below are some tips if you come across an injured or orphaned animal.

  • Leave a fawn alone to see if the adult will return within 48 hours.
  • Leave the nest of rabbits alone unless they are found cold or injured.
  • Keep other pests away from the bird and watch it closely for an hour to see if the adult will return for feedings.
