Found almost all over the world, otters are natural swimmers. They are seen mostly in wet habitats such as marshes, lakes, fresh rivers and oceans. Also very social creatures, otters are nocturnal and prefer to hunt during night time.
These animals spend most of their time during the day grooming themselves. They stay clean by scratching their fur against the rocks or rubbing it on the grass. Otters also love to play. They can be seen chasing their tails or sliding off into the water.
