Three People Treated for Rabid Cat Exposure

In Glanbrook area, three individuals are being treated for possible exposure to rabies after a rabid cat came in contact with a number of people. According to reports, this is the second time in the recent months that a few people have been treated for rabies.

Dr. Malcolm Lock, in a news release, reminded everyone that rabies can be easily transmitted. That being said, pet owners are encouraged to update their animals’ rabies vaccination status. This will minimize the risk of exposure to any parasites or diseases.
