Wildlife Safety Tips for DST

It’s Daylight Savings Time once again and unlike humans, animals in the wild don’t have a clock to operate by. Time change can be a great concern especially to those who are out and about driving around dawn. To make sure you stay safe while on the road, here are some tips from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

  • Stay alert for any signs of wild animals on the road.
  • Keep an eye on what’s going on around you just in case wildlife does come out onto the roadway.
  • Make some noise when leaving your house to help scare away any wildlife nearby.
