An alligator was recently rescued from the banks of the Ohio River. Known to be as good hunters, these animals can adapt well to their environment, according to Cincinnati Zoo’s director or Animal Collections Bob Lessnau.

Lessnau as well other experts say that people are not prepared for how burdensome these animals can become. Apparently, some would like to keep them as pets but if they survive, they can grow bigger and bigger each year which makes them really dangerous.
