CBRM Calls for Help to Control Nuisance Raccoons

CBRM Calls for Help to Control Nuisance Raccoons During the meeting this week, Cape Breton Regional Municipality council passed a resolution asking Paul Burt, manager of planning, bylaws and unsightly premises to write the Natural Resources Minister to endorse a wildlife control plan that would help keep all Nova Scotia residents safe from risks when raccoons wander onto their properties.

According to District 7 Councilor Ivan Doncaster, raccoons can be very fierce especially if you corner them closer and closer. Having these animals in your own residential properties can be very dangerous which is why the council thinks that the provincial government has to respond to such issue straightaway.
