In a vacuum, squirrels can be extremely adorable creatures, but that all ends when they start gnawing on electrical cords and chippings holes through your walls and furnishings. Deal with an infestation before it’s too late by considering the following measures:

• Replace any rotted boards, and fix up loose ones
• If you find a nest, chase out the mother and wait for the babies to leave then seal any entrances
• Try commercial deterrent products like Animal B Gone or Shake Away or use an ultrasonic repeller
